I like how your icon captions provide extensive information about the manufacturing plants and retail stores, including the average wages of the employees and other financial information. It seems funny to me that a company called American Apparel would have such a heavy weight of retail stores and assets in Western Europe.
I really like the appearance of your map, and the organization of it as well! Good job on using a variety of icons to reflect different aspects related the American Apparel's globalization. Are there any parts of the world where the company had to close its outlet due to slow business?
